I'm kinda missed the train. Yeah, late news. I know. But I hope it's not too late for me to show some of the picture of my artwork and installation at the recent RANtAI Art Event 2008. Credit to Ivery from pipit for the pictures and if you notice there's a few pictures that was so low quality, yes they were taken by me..hehehe. Owh yeah, thanks a lot to RANtAI Management for handling this great event and for accepting my work as well. Though I didn't spend much time there last Saturday because I had to run some errands, I hope RANtAI will be better next year.

Having a Black Monday?

Well, I know it's already Thursday. I'd just putting up some new illo on Fashion-na-nimal Darlings. Here's a lil peek on what I'm planning to sell for Art for Grabs X'Mas this coming 20th & 21st Dec at The Annex Gallery. All items sold should be lower than RM 100 so I'm afraid I can't include my La mode des filles de la forêt collection because that mean I have to mark down my selling price and also I don't think I really have much time. I would like to make something that people could actually buy my work instead of just looking at it because it's so expensive. How ever, I decided to introduce my Dolly-Dolly illos. I hope I manage to produce a few using acrylic.

Back to the post, this will be the first colours/mood series for my Fashion-na-nimal Darlings. Well...it's not just us having the black monday, ait? My FDs do too :{

Gloom and gloomy but there's still a little sparkle.

I'm happy to receive an email from F.U.E.L Collection for the Grand Small Show in Philadelphia but unfortunately, due to my financial problem, I wasn't able to courier my work to them. I was a little down but luckily my L.O.V.E soothes me down and convinced that I could have another chance next time. Hopefully :).

On the other hand, I had full of workload in hands. Next week, I will be at ARTrage Lab @ Soho KL (North Atrium & South Atrium) from 12:00pm until 9:00pm with my fashion-na-nimal darlings. I'm opening a booth for my paper dolls for two days on 29th & 30th Dec 2008. I'm planning to build a little stage for them since I can't think of a proper place to stick them on. So hopefully I'll be able to finish them up this weekend. This event was brought by Joujou + Shugi's Collectible Market. Last week I had an interview with Vivian regarding my paper dolls so you could read on Joujou + Shugi.

I'm still adding more paper dolls for the sales as well as for the next art event organized by RANtAI at MIA, near KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. Here's the pre-idea of the installation I planned to do for my paper dolls. I also will be participating in the art exhibition and will send along some of my current artwork .
