Here's a little peek on what I'm working on right now. We at The Fashion Forest are going to support the Chic Charity event organized by Tongue in Chic this weekend.
Excerpt from Joyce email :
"Chic Charity is basically a pet project we have where we collect clothes that girls don't want anymore but are still good condition (and not suitable to donate to an orphanage!) and sell them for RM5-15 each. The whole point of this is to recycle clothes, buy new ones without it being expensive, and all the money goes to the Women's Aid Organisation."

Got the idea now? I'm gonna produce limited prints of my girls sending out messages (in fashionably manners of course ;)), love and comfort as an encouragement to those who have been through rough times and what some women out there have to put through years of domestic violence. We hope our little effort would at least soothes the pain a little and also spread the messages of "No to Violence" to all the people out there. Lets spread the love and give some hope for them to stand up again. Open the door for the new life, speak up and act!

I went to meet Joanna Saw to deliver the Boudoir Series artwork she reserved last time at her Paperdoll Boutique with Patricia. I managed to make it up yesterday after I turn down our appointment since I was tide up @ Youth last weekend. I 'm so eager to see her and we both ambush her lovely store. Her all white store with pink butterfly pattern wall paper accentuated her colourful dresses that she displayed in white vintage design closet. Her store does not only offer beautiful dresses and corsets, but also shoes and jeweleries. Mind you that all the clothes here are specially made for Paperdoll Boutique and guess what, Joanna is 100% responsible on the designs itself. Each items or designs are limited and one of a kind so you don't have to worry that you might stumbled upon someone else who happened to wear the same dress as yours (like what happened to me last time..hehehe).

Joanna requested me to get my girls fashioned for her upcoming private line collection which will be in mid June or July. She also said that there'll be more designs dedicated for plus size girls. Be happy girls because you don't have to worry for not having your right fit. But for now, you still can don in her ready to wear collections while they still last before she stock in new stuffs.
