Art for Grabs X'mas Special 2008

Here are some pictures of my set up at Art for Grabs at The Annexxe Gallery last weekend. It was a blast! I thanked to Him for opening the path and made things easier for me despite the difficulties and hardship that I faced. Thanks a million and much much more to my L.O.V.E for taking his time to drop by and support. Thanks to The Annexxe Gallery for organizing such a great event and last but not least to those who bought my work such as Lisa Foo, Nadia, Joys from STUPHY, Patricia, Sri from take.me, Melissa, Dill from Filmmakers Anonymous, Myra, Rekha and...3 friends Patty, Tako and sorry I can't get the other boy's (Evangelione's brother) name. I'm very bad with names. All my paper dolls are sold out! And some of them managed to snatch my illustration work. I hope you guys enjoy my work.

Owh yeah, Amy Ng from pikaland dropped by as well. Thanks for coming Amy. It was great to see you. Looking forward the next Pikapackage Project.

I'm continuing my collaboration work with Vivian from The Kraft Store and icons requested by Patricia this week. My girls' next stop would be at the Creative Mafia at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur. I'll be participating in the exhibition and I plan to get my Fashion-na-nimal Darlings lining up. I'm thinking of a tea party or something but I'm not sure yet. There'll be a few new stuffs coming up for the next year and they are still in progress. So do drop by often for more updates!

So this is it. The final flyer design for Art for Grabs this weekend. All items are below RM 100. Yes! Be sure to keep your wallet fully loaded because there sure be huge temptation as you might get artwork as low as RM 5 perhaps? This time I'm keeping my artwork affordable so that everyone can enjoy. My fashion-na-nimal paper dolls will be lining up on the wall and I have some illustrations stocks for your feast. See ya!

New! My new added Fashion-na-nimal Darlings mood/colour series. All artwork will be at the upcoming Arts for Grab X'mas at The Annexx Gallery. Yes it' just a few days away. I got a lot more to add though I'm not sure if I have enough time to catch up. I already have 4 more FD drawings and then I would proceed on Dolly-Dolly.

Dolly-Dolly.

I tried my hands on acrylic for Dolly-Dolly but I can't quite get the right effect I wanted. Well I know it was a bit rushing so it was a little disappointment. Well, it's not final anyways. I thought I could ammned a lil. Owh, well the right thing is I need P.R.A.C.T.I.C.E! Since this is my first time so of course it look awful! Sigh...I don't think I can include my acrylic painting this time. Now I have to think the better way of coming up with Doly-Dolly.

Weekends have been hectic! Besides drawing and painting, I'm working on new ideas for the installation at the Creative Mafia @ Youth 2009 at PWTC. I just had some sketches here and there but I haven't finalized yet. The event will be in January. Since it'll take my two working days,so I decided to just go for installation.

There's still a few weeks toward New Year and not even a day will be wasted. I'm on my way on working on new illustration series for La mode des filles de la forêt as I'm looking forward next group exhibition for next year. There will be a few local art events in year 2009. I hope it'll be more bigger and better!
